During preparation of the bill (Reg. No. 0947) for the second reading the Committee has elaborated around 40 amendments, the majority of which was taken into account.
Particularly, it is suggested supplement the bill with the following provisions:
prohibit inclusion of information with limited access to the general plan of populated areas;
ensure free access to protocols of sessions of local councils, as well as decisions and conclusions of their stand commissions;
bring the Law “On Personal Data Protection” in line with the Law “On Access to Public Information” in the part of determination of confidential information, access to information about a person and prohibition of limitation of access to several types of socially necessary information, etc.
